Outomake ("we," "our," or "us") operates the OutoThumb mobile application (the "App").
We are committed to protecting user privacy and providing a safe, secure environment for our users. This Privacy Policy informs you about how our application accesses, collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal and sensitive data. This document satisfies the transparency requirements outlined in the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the Google Play Data Safety specifications.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described herein. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not access or use the application.

SECTION 1 — Information We Collect and Access

To provide our core service — automatically generating optimized video thumbnails using artificial intelligence — we access and collect only the data types strictly necessary to fulfill the application's functionality.
A. Personal Information
During account registration, authentication, and management, we collect the following data:
• Name / Display Name: Provided by you during registration or retrieved via third-party sign-in providers.
• Email Address: Provided during sign-up or through a connected sign-in provider.
• User ID: A unique identifier linked to your account to manage your profile and credit balance securely.
B. App Activity & User-Generated Content
To process your thumbnail generation requests, we handle the text you enter:
• Text Input / Content: Video titles and any optional custom instructions you enter into the generation field.
• Usage Records: Timestamps of generations and remaining credit balance.
C. Photos and Media (Local Device Storage)
• Gallery Integration: The App uses native Android media APIs to save generated thumbnails directly to your device gallery folder (Pictures/OutoThumb/).
• Scope of Access: The App only writes files it creates. It does not read, scan, index, or transmit any existing personal photos or media stored on your device.
D. Device Preferences
• Local Settings: App preferences such as your "Auto-save to Gallery" toggle are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.

SECTION 2 — How Your Data Is Used

Your information is used solely to operate and improve the OutoThumb service:
1. Account Management: Your name and email are used to create and maintain your secure account.
2. Thumbnail Generation: Your video title input is sent to our secure servers to generate a thumbnail using AI. Only your text input is transmitted — your personal identity is never shared with the AI model.
3. Service Improvement: Aggregate, anonymized usage data may be used to improve app performance and generation quality.
4. Communication: Your email may be used to notify you of important service updates or policy changes.

SECTION 3 — Data Retention

We enforce strict data minimization to protect your content from permanent cloud retention.
A. Cloud Thumbnail Expiry (7 Days)
• Generated thumbnail images are stored securely in our cloud servers for 7 days from the date of creation.
• Automatic Deletion: All thumbnail images are permanently and automatically deleted from our servers exactly 7 days after generation. This is enforced by an automated storage lifecycle policy.
• History Records: After the image expires, your text record (video title and generation timestamp) remains in your account history. Expired entries display an "Expired" badge in the History tab.
B. Device-Saved Files
• Thumbnails you save to your device are permanent local files. We have no ability to access, track, or delete files stored on your device.

SECTION 4 — Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party providers to deliver the OutoThumb service. These providers process your data only on our behalf and under our instructions:

We do not sell, trade, rent, or lease your personal information or generated content to data brokers, advertisers, or any third parties for commercial or tracking purposes.

SECTION 5 — Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
• Encryption in Transit: All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Access Controls: Your account data is only accessible by your verified account. Sensitive system credentials are stored securely on the server and are never exposed to the app or users.

SECTION 6 — Account & Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time.
To delete your account:
Open OutoThumb → Settings → Account → Delete Account
This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Upon deletion, the following occurs immediately:
1. Your account credentials and profile are permanently deleted.
2. All associated data — including usage history, credit balance, and account details — is permanently removed from our servers.
3. Any thumbnail images stored in our cloud will be permanently deleted within 7 days as part of our standard retention policy.

SECTION 7 — Children's Privacy

OutoThumb is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will promptly delete their data.

SECTION 8 — Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (via in-app account deletion).
